Arabic breakfast & Sweets @Al-Dar

Al Dar Sweets Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Stopped by this place on last Saturday, As you all know I take weekend breakfast/brunches very seriously. Had to explore & try something different. So, we ended up going to Al-Dar sweets in Madinat Zayed.

Al-Dar sweets is the family owned business run by generations of same family. Well now you know why this place had homely feel to it. As we entered, we got welcomed by amazing staff. I liked the different corners of the place. But, the most lovely part was blackboard featuring the menu. Sat just close to window felt Sun-kissed 😀

Mr. Wissam is the man behind this & was there, He recommended us few of their specialties. Now coming to food, we tried. The menu consist of different arabic breads, savory & sweet options.

We ordered clay pot baked eggs (Truly amazing & unique),  Kishek. cheese & pizza Manakish, both had an unique taste which would leave you craving for more.

I am a huge fan of pastries of all sort, so we tried the unique pastry named “Ish Al bulbul” as unique the name sounds same different was the taste, flully crisp pastry having a kick of sweetness to it. Made it perfect for a pastry lover like me.

Lastly, we had house special coffee (arabica), made by Mr.Wissam specially for us. When I say specialty coffee & arabica you know what I mean(period) 😀

Ended up taking some baklawa, Kunafa & arabic sweets for us. Sugar cravings sorted for a month. All in all a wonderful Saturday morning spent with happy tummy. Trust my reviews?

Head to this place & you won’t be disappointed. 🙂  Just in case you want to see how our table looked. 😀
