In today’s post I am reviewing a cafe at Bawabat-al-Sharq mall that is Crepeaholic. We were invited by Mr Sinan, owner of cafe to try and review the food there.
Starting with ambiance, This place has a cute cozy ambiance we were welcomed nicely and got seated.
Crepeaholic has different variety of crepe both sweet and savory. We ordered chicken Fajita crepe in savory. It comes with a choice of salad or fries. We ordered salad as a side. The crepe serving was good enough to share tasted really nice, Salad was also very refreshing and cherry tomatoes gave a very nice tangy twist to salad. A must try. With this we ordered mint/lemon Mojito. Strong tasting and revitalizing flavor.
As the cafe main focus is on desserts we tried two of there house specials. One was fettuccine crepe. In this they made crisp, light crepe cut them in fettuccine pasta shape. Top it with ice cream scoop with generous drizzle of brown and white chocolate. The serving was so huge, a single person can’t finish it. I really loved the concept and its a must have if you are at crepeaholic.
Other dish that was served as a house special was french toasts. Made with amazing french bread served with maple syrup. The french toasts tasted fairly good. The serving was very tempting and the platter looked colorful. I am not really a fan of french toasts so it was 50-50 for me. 😀
To compliment our sweet cravings we ordered a cold coffee which was Cafe Mocha. The coffee tasted really amazing and it went well with fettuccine crepe.
Overall We had a really good experience at crepeaholic. Its a new eatery with very good menu. I would recommend it as a good for breakfast or sweet cravings place. A must visit.
